तत्र मन्त्रविदां शरेष्ठस तपॊवृद्धॊ महाव्रतः जग्राह पाणिं धर्मात्मा विधिमन्त्रपुरस्कृतम ।। १-४३-४ ।।

sanskrit

'At that moment, the foremost Brahmana, well-versed in mantras, dedicated to austere practices, a virtuous and experienced ascetic, accepted the hand of the maiden, presented to him in accordance with the scriptural rites.' ।। 1-43-4 ।।

english translation

tatra mantravidAM zareSThasa tapòvRddhò mahAvrataH jagrAha pANiM dharmAtmA vidhimantrapuraskRtama || 1-43-4 ||
