सविस्फुलिङ्गज्वालानि सधूमानि च सर्वशः चक्राणि परिघांश चैव तरिशूलानि परश्वधान ॥ १-१६-४३ ॥

'And they were also armed with many a discus and iron mace furnished with spikes, and trident, battle-axe, and various kinds of sharp-pointed missiles and polished swords and maces of terrible form, all befitting their respective bodies.' ॥ 1-26-43 ॥

savisphuliGgajvAlAni sadhUmAni ca sarvazaH cakrANi parighAMza caiva tarizUlAni parazvadhAna ॥ 1-16-43 ॥
