उपजिघ्रद्भिर आकाशं वृक्षैर मलयजैर अपि शॊभितं पुष्पवर्षाणि मुञ्चद्भिर मारुतॊद्धुतैः ॥ १-२३-४ ॥

sanskrit

'The sky was scented by the fragrance of blossoming trees, carrying the essence of the Malaya mountains, and it was adorned with many a tree that grew only on the hills of Malaya. These trees, by their tallness, seemed to reach the very heavens, gracing the surroundings with their presence.' ॥ 1-23-4 ॥

english translation

upajighradbhira AkAzaM vRkSaira malayajaira api zòbhitaM puSpavarSANi muJcadbhira mArutòddhutaiH ॥ 1-23-4 ॥
