तवम अग्निर हव्यवाहस तवं तवम एव परमं हविः मनीषिणस तवां यजन्ते बहुधा चैकधैव च ॥ १-२२३-१३ ॥

'You are the carrier of sacrificial butter, and you are the excellent sacrificial butter itself! The wise recognize you as both singular in cause and manifold in effect!' ॥ 1-223-13 ॥

tavama agnira havyavAhasa tavaM tavama eva paramaM haviH manISiNasa tavAM yajante bahudhA caikadhaiva ca ॥ 1-223-13 ॥
