ततॊ ऽदभुतं महावीर्यं यशः कीर्तिविवर्धनम सर्वशस्त्रैर अनाधृष्यं सर्वशस्त्रप्रमाथि च सर्वायुधमहामात्रं परसेना परधर्षणम ॥ १-२१६-५ ॥
'He then bestowed that remarkable jewel of a bow, brimming with immense energy. This bow augmented fame and accomplishments, impervious to any weapon, foremost among all armaments, capable of destroying others, and capable alone of equaling a hundred thousand bows in might.' ॥ 1-216-5 ॥
