स तं नानापताकाभिः शॊभितं रथम उत्तमम परदक्षिणम उपावृत्य दैवतेभ्यः परणम्य च ॥ १-२१६-१५ ॥

sanskrit

'Then Arjuna, clad in mail and armed with a sword, his fingers protected by leather gloves, walked around the splendid chariot adorned with numerous flags. After bowing to the gods, he ascended the chariot like a virtuous man riding a celestial car to heaven.' ॥ 1-216-15 ॥

english translation

sa taM nAnApatAkAbhiH zòbhitaM rathama uttamama paradakSiNama upAvRtya daivatebhyaH paraNamya ca ॥ 1-216-15 ॥
