अवध्यास तु सत्रियः सृष्टा मन्यन्ते धर्मचिन्तकाः तस्माद धर्मेण धर्मज्ञ नास्मान हिंसितुम अर्हसि ॥ १-२०९-४ ॥
'The virtuous have proclaimed that women should never be slain. Therefore, may you increase in virtue. It is not appropriate for you to harm us in this manner.' ॥ 1-209-4 ॥
