एष एव वधॊ ऽसमाकं सुपर्याप्तस तपॊधन यद वयं संशितात्मानं परलॊब्धुं तवाम इहागताः ॥ १-२०९-३ ॥
'Truly, O Brahmana, it was like inviting death upon ourselves when we came here to tempt you, who are steadfast in your vows and asceticism.' ॥ 1-209-3 ॥
