ततः पिता महः साक्षाद अभिगम्य महासुरौ वरेण छन्दयाम आस सर्वलॊकपितामहः ॥ १-२०१-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'Finally, the Grandsire himself, the Supreme Lord always seeking the welfare of all beings, approached those mighty Asuras and invited them to ask for the boon they desired.' ॥ 1-201-16 ॥

english translation

tataH pitA mahaH sAkSAda abhigamya mahAsurau vareNa chandayAma Asa sarvalòkapitAmahaH ॥ 1-201-16 ॥
