ततॊ दरॊण वधः पर्व विज्ञेयं लॊमहर्षणम मॊक्षॊ नारायणास्त्रस्य पर्वानन्तरम उच्यते ॥ १-२-५८ ॥

'Then, must you know, comes the story of the death of Drona of surprising interest. The next that comes is called the discharge of the weapon called Narayana.' ॥ 1-2-58 ॥

tatò daròNa vadhaH parva vijJeyaM lòmaharSaNama mòkSò nArAyaNAstrasya parvAnantarama ucyate ॥ 1-2-58 ॥
