एताम अक्षौहिणीं पराहुः संख्या तत्त्वविदॊ जनाः यां वः कथितवान अस्मि विस्तरेण दविजॊत्तमाः ॥ १-२-२३ ॥
'These, O Brahmanas, as fully explained by me, are the numbers of an Akshauhini as said by those acquainted with the principles of numbers.'॥ 1-2-23 ॥
