दवादशं पर्व निर्दिष्टम एतत पराज्ञजनप्रियम पर्वण्य अत्र परिज्ञेयम अध्यायानां शतत्रयम तरिंशच चैव तथाध्याया नव चैव तपॊधनाः ॥ १-२-१९९ ॥

' Presenting the twelfth Parva, esteemed for its wisdom, it is noteworthy that this section encompasses a total of one hundred and thirty-three chapters. These chapters are organized into three sections, each comprising thirty-three chapters, with an additional nine chapters to complete this comprehensive division.' ॥ 1-2-199 ॥
