एवं नामाभिनिर्वृत्तं तस्य देशस्य वै दविजाः पुण्यश च रमणीयश च स देशॊ वः परकीर्तितः ।। १-२-११ ।।

sanskrit

'And, O Brahmanas, having come thereto, they were all slain on the spot. Thus the name of that region, O Brahmanas, hath been explained, and the country described to you as a sacred and delightful one'।। 1-2-11 ।।

english translation

evaM nAmAbhinirvRttaM tasya dezasya vai davijAH puNyaza ca ramaNIyaza ca sa dezò vaH parakIrtitaH || 1-2-11 ||
