ददृशाते तदा तत्र समुद्रं निधिम अम्भसाम तिमिंगिलझषाकीर्णं मकरैर आवृतं तथा ।। १-१९-३ ।।

sanskrit

'As they proceeded on their journey, they encountered the mighty Ocean, a vast and profound expanse of water, undulating with immense waves and resounding with thunderous roars. It was populated with fishes of such size that they could easily engulf a whale.' ।। 1-19-3 ।।

english translation

dadRzAte tadA tatra samudraM nidhima ambhasAma timiMgilajhaSAkIrNaM makaraira AvRtaM tathA || 1-19-3 ||
