[सू] एतत ते सर्वम आख्यातम अमृतं मथितं यथा यत्र सॊ ऽशवः समुत्पन्नः शरीमान अतुलविक्रमः ।। १-१८-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Sauti said, 'Thus have I recited to you the whole story of how Amrita was churned out of the Ocean, and the occasion on which the horse Uchchaihsravas of great beauty and incomparable prowess was obtained.' ।। 1-18-1 ।।

english translation

[sU] etata te sarvama AkhyAtama amRtaM mathitaM yathA yatra sò 'zavaH samutpannaH zarImAna atulavikramaH || 1-18-1 ||
