मञ्चेषु च परार्ध्येषु पौरजानपदा जनाः कृष्णा दर्शनतुष्ट्य अर्थं सर्वतः समुपाविशन ॥ १-१७६-२६ ॥

'On the exalted seats, the people from the cities and the provinces, desirous of seeing Krishna, gathered from all around and took their seats.' ॥ 1-176-26 ॥

बराह्मणैस ते च सहिताः पाण्डवाः समुपाविशन ऋद्धिं पाञ्चालराजस्य पश्यन्तस ताम अनुत्तमाम ॥ १-१७६-२७ ॥

'The Pandavas also entered the amphitheatre, taking their seats among the Brahmanas, and admired the unparalleled wealth of the King of the Panchalas.' ॥ 1-176-27 ॥

'The gathering of princes, Brahmanas, and others, delighted by the performances of actors and dancers and the lavish gifts of wealth, grew larger day by day.' ॥ 1-176-28 ॥

'While the delightful assembly was going on, on the sixteenth day, she arrived, her body bathed, well-dressed, and adorned with all ornaments.' ॥ 1-176-29 ॥
