[पितरह] य एष मन्युजस ते ऽगनिर लॊकान आदातुम इच्छति अप्सु तं मुञ्च भद्रं ते लॊका हय अप्सु परतिष्ठिताः ॥ १-१७१-१७॥

sanskrit

'Vasishtha continued, 'The Pitris replied, saying, "O, cast away this fire born of your wrath, which desires to consume the worlds, into the waters.' ॥ 1-171-17 ॥

english translation

[pitaraha] ya eSa manyujasa te 'ganira lòkAna AdAtuma icchati apsu taM muJca bhadraM te lòkA haya apsu paratiSThitAH ॥ 1-171-17॥
