ततॊ लालप्यमानस्य पार्थिवस्यायतेक्षणा सौदामनीव साभ्रेषु तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥ १-१६०-३९ ॥

'King Samvarana thus addressed the damsel in the forest, but she spoke not a word to the monarch, who was burning with desire. Instead, like lightning in the clouds, the large-eyed maiden quickly vanished from his sight.' ॥ 1-160-39 ॥
