याजॊपयाजौ बरह्मर्षी शाम्यन्तौ पृषतात्मजः संहिताध्ययने युक्तौ गॊत्रतश चापि काश्यपौ ।। १-१५५-७ ।।

'The king encountered two Brahmana sages named Yaja and Upayaja, both deeply disciplined and possessing remarkable self-control, belonging to the highest echelon of their order. They were dedicated to the study of ancient scriptures and hailed from the lineage of Kasyapa.' ।। 1-155-7 ।।

yAjòpayAjau barahmarSI zAmyantau pRSatAtmajaH saMhitAdhyayane yuktau gòtrataza cApi kAzyapau || 1-155-7 ||
