कृष्णेत्य एवाब्रुवन कृष्णां कृष्णाभूत सा हि वर्णतः तथा तन मिथुनं जज्ञे दरुपदस्य महामखे ॥ १-१५५-५० ॥
'They said, "Let her be named Krishna," as she appeared dark-complexioned. Thus, that pair was known as such in the great lineage of Drupada.' ॥ 1-155-50 ॥
