[वै] तत्रैव नयवसन राजन निहत्य बकराक्षसम अधीयानाः परं बरह्म बराह्मणस्य निवेशने ॥ १-१५३-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, 'O king, after slaying the Rakshasa Vaka, the Pandavas continued to reside in the Brahmana's abode, dedicating themselves to the study of the Vedas.' ॥ 1-153-2 ॥

english translation

[vai] tatraiva nayavasana rAjana nihatya bakarAkSasama adhIyAnAH paraM barahma barAhmaNasya nivezane ॥ 1-153-2 ॥
