येषां च बहवः शूरा जञातयॊ धर्मसंश्रिताः ते जीवन्ति सुखं लॊके भवन्ति च निरामयाः ॥ १-१३८-२६ ॥
'Those who have many brave relatives, adhering to dharma, they live happily in the world and remain free from afflictions.' ॥ 1-138-26 ॥
english translation
बलवन्तः समृद्धार्था मित्र बान्धवनन्दनाः जीवन्त्य अन्यॊन्यम आश्रित्य दरुमाः काननजा इव ॥ १-१३८-२७ ॥
'The strong, prosperous, and delightful to friends and relatives live by relying on each other, like the trees born in a forest.' ॥ 1-138-27 ॥
english translation
वयं तु धृतराष्ट्रेण सपुत्रेण दुरात्मना विवासिता न दग्धाश च कथं चित तस्य शासनात ॥ १-१३८-२८ ॥
'But we, expelled by the wicked-minded Dhritarashtra along with his sons, were not burnt, nor in any way eliminated, by his command.' ॥ 1-138-28 ॥

नातिदूरे च नगरं वनाद अस्माद धि लक्षये जागर्तव्ये सवपन्तीमे हन्त जागर्म्य अहं सवयम ॥ १-१३८-३० ॥
'Not far from this forest, I perceive a city. These my kinsmen are asleep; come, I myself shall wake them.' ॥ 1-138-30 ॥
