ते वयं राजवंशेन हीनाः सह सुतैर अपि अवज्ञाता भविष्यामॊ लॊकस्य जगतीपते ॥ १-१२९-१६ ॥
'In such a scenario, O ruler of the world, we, along with our children, being excluded from the royal lineage, will undoubtedly be disregarded by everyone.' ॥ 1-129-16 ॥
english translation
सततं निरयं पराप्ताः परपिण्डॊपजीविनः न भवेम यथा राजंस तथा शीघ्रं विधीयताम ॥ १-१२९-१७ ॥
'Therefore, O monarch, devise a plan to ensure that we are not condemned to perpetual misery, dependent on others for our sustenance.' ॥ 1-129-17 ॥
english translation
अभविष्यः सथिरॊ राज्ये यदि हि तवं पुरा नृप धरुवं पराप्स्याम च वयं राज्यम अप्य अवशे जने ॥ १-१२९-१८ ॥
'O king, had you secured the kingship earlier, we would have surely inherited it, regardless of the people's disposition towards us.' ॥ 1-129-18 ॥
