एषॊ ऽसत्रविदुषां शरेष्ठ एष धर्मभृतां वरः एष शीलवतां चापि शीलज्ञाननिधिः परः ॥ १-१२५-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'This is the guardian of the Kurus." — "This is the foremost among those skilled in weaponry!" — "This is the paramount example of virtue!' ॥ 1-125-12 ॥

english translation

eSò 'satraviduSAM zareSTha eSa dharmabhRtAM varaH eSa zIlavatAM cApi zIlajJAnanidhiH paraH ॥ 1-125-12 ॥
