कृत्रिमं भासम आरॊप्य वृक्षाग्रे शिल्पिभिः कृतम अविज्ञातं कुमाराणां लक्ष्यभूतम उपादिशत ।। १-१२३-४६ ।।

sanskrit

'O mighty one, one day Drona, eager to assess the prowess of all his students in archery, gathered them together upon completing their education. Before their assembly, he had arranged for an artificial bird to be placed atop a nearby tree as the target.' ।। 1-123-46 ।।

kRtrimaM bhAsama Aròpya vRkSAgre zilpibhiH kRtama avijJAtaM kumArANAM lakSyabhUtama upAdizata || 1-123-46 ||
