अथैनम आर्तवैर गन्धैर माल्यैश च विविधैर वरैः शिबिकां समलंचक्रुर वाससाच्छाद्य सर्वशः ।। १-११८-७ ।।

'Subsequently, friends, relatives, and loyal followers wrapped the monarch's body in cloth, adorning it with seasonal flowers and sprinkling various exquisite perfumes.' ।। 1-118-7 ।।

'After placing the veiled bodies of the king and his queen on the splendidly decorated bier, they had it carried on the shoulders of humans.' ।। 1-118-9 ।।
