तुङ्गपद्मकमिश्रेण चन्दनेन सुगन्धिना अन्यैश च विविधैर गन्धैर अनल्पैः समदाहयन ।। १-११८-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'When the other funeral ceremonies also were finished in consonance with the directions of the priests, the Kauravas set fire to the dead bodies of the king and the queen, bringing lotuses, sandal-paste, and other fragrant substances to the pyre.' ।। 1-118-22 ।।
