ततस तथॊक्ता पत्या तु वायुम एवाजुहाव सा तस्माज जज्ञे महाबाहुर भीमॊ भीमपराक्रमः ।। १-११४-९ ।।

'With a modest smile, she addressed him, saying, "Grant me, O greatest of celestial beings, a child blessed with immense strength, robust physique, and the ability to humble the arrogance of all." Responding to her plea, the wind god then begot upon her the child who would later be known as Bhima, possessing mighty arms and formidable valor.' ।। 1-114-9 ।।

english translation

tatasa tathòktA patyA tu vAyuma evAjuhAva sA tasmAja jajJe mahAbAhura bhImò bhImaparAkramaH || 1-114-9 ||
