एष धर्मभृतां शरेष्ठॊ भविष्यति न संशयः युधिष्ठिर इति खयातः पाण्डॊः परथमजः सुतः ।। १-११४-६ ।।

sanskrit

'This child shall excel as the paragon of humanity, the pinnacle of virtue. Endowed with immense strength and unwavering honesty, he will undoubtedly reign over the earth. This eldest son of Pandu shall be renowned as Yudhishthira.' ।। 1-114-6 ।।

english translation

eSa dharmabhRtAM zareSThò bhaviSyati na saMzayaH yudhiSThira iti khayAtaH pANDòH parathamajaH sutaH || 1-114-6 ||
