देवानां बराह्मणानां च सुहृदां चार्थसाधकम सुतं ते ऽगर्यं परदास्यामि सर्वामित्र विनाशनम ॥ १-११४-२३ ॥
'I shall bestow upon you a son who will fulfill the purposes of the gods, Brahmins, and friends, and who will be an unerring destroyer of all enemies.' ॥ 1-114-23 ॥
