अथ तव इमं परवक्ष्यामि धर्मं तव एतं निबॊध मे पुराणम ऋषिभिर दृष्टं धर्मविद्भिर महात्मभिः ॥ १-११३-३ ॥
'However, I will now impart to you the ancient practices as indicated by the illustrious Rishis, who were thoroughly versed in every principle of morality.' ॥ 1-113-3 ॥
