[भस] गुणैः समुदितं सम्यग इदं नः परथितं कुलम अत्य अन्यान पृथिवीपालान पृथिव्याम अधिराज्यभाक ।। १-१०३-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Bhishma said, 'This our celebrated race, resplendent with every virtue and accomplishment, hath all along sovereignty over all other monarchs on earth.' ।। 1-103-1 ।।

english translation

[bhasa] guNaiH samuditaM samyaga idaM naH parathitaM kulama atya anyAna pRthivIpAlAna pRthivyAma adhirAjyabhAka || 1-103-1 ||
