तापसैः सह संवृद्धा मातृभ्यां परिरक्षिताः मेध्यारण्येषु पुण्येषु महताम आश्रमेषु च ।। १-१-७०।।

sanskrit

'Their offspring grew up, under the care of their two mothers, in the society of ascetics, in the midst of sacred groves and holy recluse-abodes of religious men.' ।। 1-1-70 ।।

english translation

tApasaiH saha saMvRddhA mAtRbhyAM parirakSitAH medhyAraNyeSu puNyeSu mahatAma AzrameSu ca || 1-1-70||
