सुखासीनं ततस तं तु विश्रान्तम उपलक्ष्य च अथापृच्छद ऋषिस तत्र कश चित परस्तावयन कथाः ।। १-१-६ ।।

sanskrit

Seeing that he was comfortably seated, and recovered from fatigue, one of the Rishis (the sage) then inquired about someone else, asking if anyone there had stories to share from beyond. ।। 1-1-6 ।।

english translation

sukhAsInaM tatasa taM tu vizrAntama upalakSya ca athApRcchada RSisa tatra kaza cita parastAvayana kathAH || 1-1-6 ||
