यं लेभे वरुणः पुत्रं पुरा भरतसत्तम वसिष्ठॊ नाम स मुनिः खयात आपव इत्य उत ।। १-९३-५ ।।

sanskrit

'Ganga, addressing the king, her spouse, and paragon among men, began, "O foremost among the descendants of Bharata, the son acquired by Varuna was named Vasishtha, who, in time, became renowned as the sage Apava."' ।। 1-93-5 ।।

english translation

yaM lebhe varuNaH putraM purA bharatasattama vasiSThò nAma sa muniH khayAta Apava itya uta || 1-93-5 ||
