जरा वली च मां तात पलितानि च पर्यगुः काव्यस्यॊशनसः शापान न च तृप्तॊ ऽसमि यौवने ॥ १-७९-२ ॥
'Addressing him thus, 'Beloved child, due to the curse from Kavya, also known as Usanas, old age, wrinkles, and greying of hair have befallen me. Yet, I have not yet been fulfilled with the enjoyment of youth.'' ॥ 1-79-2 ॥
