[व] पौरवाणां वंशकरॊ दुःषन्तॊ नाम वीर्यवान पृथिव्याश चतुरन्ताया गॊप्ता भरतसत्तम ।। १-६२-३ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, 'O exalted one of Bharata's race, the founder of the Paurava line was Dushmanta gifted with great energy. And he was the protector of the earth bounded by the four seas.' ।। 1-62-3 ।।

english translation

[va] pauravANAM vaMzakarò duHSantò nAma vIryavAna pRthivyAza caturantAyA gòptA bharatasattama || 1-62-3 ||
