सप्त विंशतिसॊमस्य पत्न्यॊ लॊके परिश्रुताः कालस्य नयने युक्ताः सॊमपत्न्यः शुभव्रताः सर्वा नक्षत्रयॊगिन्यॊ लॊकयात्रा विधौ सथिताः ॥ १-६०-१५ ॥
'It is widely recognized that Soma (the Moon) has twenty-seven wives, who, embodying sacred vows, play a crucial role in marking time. These wives are the Nakshatras (constellations) and Yoginis, serving a pivotal function in guiding the cosmic journey of the worlds.' ॥ 1-60-15 ॥
