[ष] ये सर्पाः सर्पसत्रे ऽसमिन पतिता हव्यवाहने तेषां नामानि सर्वेषां शरॊतुम इच्छामि सूतज ।। १-५२-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Saunaka said, 'O son of a Suta, I desire to hear the names of all those snakes that fell into the fire of this snake sacrifice!' ।। 1-52-1 ।।

english translation

[Sa] ye sarpAH sarpasatre 'samina patitA havyavAhane teSAM nAmAni sarveSAM zaròtuma icchAmi sUtaja || 1-52-1 ||
