तक्षकस तु स नागेन्द्रः पुरंदर निवेशनम गतः शरुत्वैव राजानं दीक्षितं जनमेजयम ॥ १-४८-१४ ॥
'Meanwhile, Takshaka, that prince of snakes, as soon as he heard that king Janamejaya was engaged in the sacrifice, went to the palace of Purandara (Indra).' ॥ 1-48-14 ॥
