यस तु कृच्छ्रम असंप्राप्तं विचेता नावबुध्यते स कृच्छ्रकाले वयथितॊ न परजानाति किं चन ॥ १-२२३-२ ॥

sanskrit

'But the person with a perplexed soul, who does not stay vigilant, experiences the pangs of death when the hour arrives and never attains salvation.' ॥ 1-223-2 ॥

english translation

yasa tu kRcchrama asaMprAptaM vicetA nAvabudhyate sa kRcchrakAle vayathitò na parajAnAti kiM cana ॥ 1-223-2 ॥
