मौसलं पर्व च ततॊ घॊरं समनुवर्ण्यते महाप्रस्थानिकं पर्व सवर्गारॊहणिकं ततः ॥ १-२-६८ ॥
'The next is called 'Mausala' which abounds with terrible and cruel incidents. Then comes 'Mahaprasthanika' and ascension to heaven.' ॥ 1-2-68 ॥
