स तेषु रुधिराम्भःसु हरदेषु करॊधमूर्च्छितः पितॄन संतर्पयाम आस रुधिरेणेति नः शरुतम ।। १-२-५ ।।

sanskrit

'We are told that his reason being overpowered by anger he offered oblations of blood to the manes of his ancestors, standing amidthe sanguine waters of those lakes.'।। 1-2-5 ।।

english translation

sa teSu rudhirAmbhaHsu haradeSu karòdhamUrcchitaH pitRRna saMtarpayAma Asa rudhireNeti naH zarutama || 1-2-5 ||
