यं तं देवगणाः सर्वे हृष्टरूपा अपूजयन मथ्यमाने ऽमृते जातम अश्वरत्नम अनुत्तमम ॥ १-१५-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Uchchaihsravas, the steed of resplendent countenance, worshipped by the gods and renowned as the gem among steeds, emerged during the churning of the Ocean for the nectar.' ॥ 1-15-2 ॥

english translation

yaM taM devagaNAH sarve hRSTarUpA apUjayana mathyamAne 'mRte jAtama azvaratnama anuttamama ॥ 1-15-2 ॥
