बराह्मं वेदम अधीयाना वेदाङ्गानि च सार्वशः नीतिशास्त्रं च धार्मज्ञा ददृशुस ते पितामहम ॥ १-१४४-५ ॥
'Studying the Brahma Veda and all the Vedangas, and well-versed in the science of ethics, they saw the grandsire, O knower of dharma.' ॥ 1-144-5 ॥
