तस्मिन समभवद दरॊणः कलशे तस्य धीमतः अध्यगीष्ट स वेदांश च वेदाङ्गानि च सर्वशः ॥ १-१२१-५ ॥
'From that incident, Drona was born in a pot, endowed with intelligence. He mastered the Vedas and the Vedangas completely.' ॥ 1-121-5 ॥
