निष्कारणा निष्कलङ्का निरुपाधिर् निरीश्वरा । नीरागा रागमथनी निर्मदा मदनाशिनी ॥ ४६॥
The Goddess is self-existent, without cause; she is absolutely pure and untainted; beyond any material limitation or identity and is the supreme being in herself. She is without attachment, and destroys the attachment of others. She is without ego and destroys emotions like Kama (lust).
english translation
वह देवी स्वयंभू हैं, जिनका कोई कारण नहीं है; वे पूर्णतः पवित्र और निष्कलंक हैं; किसी भी भौतिक सीमा या पहचान से परे हैं और स्वयं में सर्वोच्च सत्ता हैं। वे आसक्ति से रहित हैं, और दूसरों की आसक्ति को भी समाप्त कर देती हैं। वे अहंकार रहित हैं और काम (वासना) जैसे भावों का विनाश करने वाली हैं।

niSkAraNA niSkalaGkA nirupAdhir nirIzvarA । nIrAgA rAgamathanI nirmadA madanAzinI ॥ 46॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिश्चिन्ता निरहंकारा निर्मोहा मोहनाशिनी । निर्ममा ममताहन्त्री निष्पापा पापनाशिनी ॥ ४७॥
The Goddess is completely devoid of worry and ego. She is beyond attachment and destroys attachment (maya/illusion). She has no feeling of 'mine and yours' and destroys attachment. She is sinless herself and destroys the sins of her devotees.

वह देवी पूरी तरह से चिंता और अहंकार से रहित हैं। वे मोह से परे हैं और मोह (माया/भ्रम) का नाश करती हैं। उनमें 'मेरा-तेरा' जैसी कोई भावना नहीं है और वे ममता (आसक्ति) का विनाश करती हैं। वे स्वयं पापरहित हैं और भक्तों के पापों का नाश करती हैं।

nizcintA nirahaMkArA nirmohA mohanAzinI । nirmamA mamatAhantrI niSpApA pApanAzinI ॥ 47॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिष्क्रोधा क्रोधशमनी निर्लोभा लोभनाशिनी । निःसंशया संशयघ्नी निर्भवा भवनाशिनी ॥ ४८॥
The Goddess is devoid of emotions like anger and greed, and also quenches the anger and greed of others. She herself is free from any kind of doubt or confusion and removes doubt from the minds of others. She is beyond the cycle of birth and death, and is the destroyer of the bonds of the world.

वह देवी क्रोध और लोभ जैसी भावनाओं से रहित हैं, और दूसरों के क्रोध तथा लालच को भी शांत कर देती हैं। वे स्वयं किसी भी प्रकार के संदेह या भ्रम से मुक्त हैं और दूसरों के मन से संशय को मिटा देती हैं। वे जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से परे हैं, और संसार रूपी बंधनों का नाश करने वाली हैं।

niSkrodhA krodhazamanI nirlobhA lobhanAzinI । niHsaMzayA saMzayaghnI nirbhavA bhavanAzinI ॥ 48॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिर्विकल्पा निराबाधा निर्भेदा भेदनाशिनी । निर्नाशा मृत्युमथनी निष्क्रिया निष्परिग्रहा ॥ ४९॥
She is devoid of choices and imaginations, unaffected by any kind of obstacle, and beyond discrimination. She destroys the sense of discrimination. She is never destroyed, she even churns out death (i.e. liberates one from the cycle of birth and death). She is not bound by any action and has no tendency to desire or accept anything.

वह देवी विकल्पों और कल्पनाओं से रहित हैं, किसी भी प्रकार की बाधा से अप्रभावित रहती हैं, और भेदभाव से परे हैं। वे भेद की भावना को नष्ट करने वाली हैं। उनका कभी नाश नहीं होता, वे मृत्यु को भी मथ डालती हैं (अर्थात जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त करती हैं)। वे किसी क्रिया के बंधन में नहीं बंधतीं और किसी वस्तु की चाह या ग्रहण करने की प्रवृत्ति उनमें नहीं होती।

nirvikalpA nirAbAdhA nirbhedA bhedanAzinI । nirnAzA mRtyumathanI niSkriyA niSparigrahA ॥ 49॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिस्तुला नीलचिकुरा निरपाया निरत्यया । दुर्लभा दुर्गमा दुर्गा दुःखहन्त्री सुखप्रदा ॥ ५०॥
That goddess is incomparable, who has beautiful black curly hair. She is beyond all means and indestructible. She is extremely rare, not easy to get, but she helps one to cross even the toughest paths, that is why she is called 'Durga'. She destroys sorrows and provides happiness to her devotees.

वह देवी अतुलनीय हैं, जिनकी सुंदर काली घुंघराली केशराशि है। वे उपायातीत और अविनाशी हैं। वे अत्यंत दुर्लभ हैं, जिन्हें पाना सरल नहीं, पर जो दुर्गम मार्गों को भी पार करा देती हैं, इसीलिए उन्हें 'दुर्गा' कहा गया है। वे दुःखों का नाश करती हैं और अपने भक्तों को सुख प्रदान करती हैं।
