त्र्यक्षरी दिव्य-गन्धाढ्या सिन्दूर-तिलकाञ्चिता । उमा शैलेन्द्रतनया गौरी गन्धर्व-सेविता ॥ १२६॥
The Goddess is the embodiment of a three-syllabled divine mantra and radiates celestial fragrance. With a sacred vermilion mark on her forehead, she appears as Umā, the daughter of the Himalayas, shining as Gaurī. Even the heavenly Gandharvas honor and serve her.

The Goddess contains the entire universe within her radiant essence. She grants boons, governs all speech and knowledge, and is approached through meditation. Infinite and immeasurable, she bestows divine wisdom and is herself the embodiment of pure knowledge.
