क्षेत्रस्वरूपा क्षेत्रेशी क्षेत्र-क्षेत्रज्ञ-पालिनी । क्षयवृद्धि-विनिर्मुक्ता क्षेत्रपाल-समर्चिता ॥ ७६॥
She who is the very form of the field (Kshetra), the sovereign of the field, the protector of both the field and the knower of the field; She who is free from decay and growth, and who is worshipped by the guardian deities of sacred places.

जो स्वयं क्षेत्र (शरीर या जगत) के स्वरूप में हैं, जो क्षेत्र की स्वामिनी हैं, जो क्षेत्र और क्षेत्रज्ञ (शरीर और आत्मा) दोनों की पालक हैं; जो हानि और वृद्धि से मुक्त हैं, और क्षेत्रपाल (स्थान के रक्षक देवता) द्वारा पूजित हैं।

She who bestows victory, is pure and immaculate, worthy of worship, and full of love for her devotees; She who governs speech, has locks flowing to the left, and resides in a circle of fire (symbol of divine energy).

जो सदा विजय प्रदान करने वाली हैं, निर्मल (पवित्र) हैं, वंदना योग्य हैं, अपने भक्तों पर स्नेह रखने वाली हैं; जो वाणी की अधिष्ठात्री हैं, जिनके केश बाईं ओर लहराते हैं, और जो अग्नि मंडल (तेजस्विता) में निवास करती हैं।

vijayA vimalA vandyA vandAru-jana-vatsalA । vAgvAdinI vAmakezI vahnimaNDala-vAsinI ॥ 77॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभक्तिमत्-कल्पलतिका पशुपाश-विमोचिनी । संहृताशेष-पाषण्डा सदाचार-प्रवर्तिका ॥ ७८॥
She is the wish-fulfilling creeper (Kalpalatika) for the devotees, the liberator from the bondage (pāśa) of ignorant beings (paśu), the destroyer of all heresies and false beliefs, and the promoter of righteous conduct (Sadācāra).

भक्तों के लिए कल्पवृक्ष रूपी लता हैं, पशु (अज्ञान व बंधनग्रस्त जीवों) के पाश को काटने वाली हैं, समस्त पाखण्डों का नाश करने वाली हैं, और उत्तम आचरण की स्थापना करने वाली हैं।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतापत्रयाग्नि-सन्तप्त-समाह्लादन-चन्द्रिका । तरुणी तापसाराध्या तनुमध्या तमोऽपहा ॥ ७९॥
She is the soothing moonlight that brings relief to those scorched by the threefold miseries (tāpatraya), ever youthful (Taruṇī), worshipped by ascetics (Tāpasas), slender-waisted (Tanumadhyā), and the dispeller of darkness (Tamas), i.e., ignorance.

जो तीन प्रकार के तापों की अग्नि से संतप्त प्राणियों को शीतलता देने वाली चन्द्रिका (चाँदनी) हैं, जो सदा तरुणी (युवती) रूप में विराजमान हैं, जो तपस्वियों द्वारा पूजित हैं, जिनकी देह मध्यम और सुसज्जित है, और जो अज्ञान रूपी अंधकार का नाश करती हैं।

She is Pure Consciousness (Chiti), the implied meaning (Lakṣyārtha) of the word "Tat" (from the Mahāvākya Tat Tvam Asi — "That Thou Art"), of the nature of undivided pure awareness (Chid-Ekarasa), and whose own inner bliss (Svātma-Ānanda) makes even the continuous bliss of Brahmā and other deities appear as mere drops (lava).

वह चेतना स्वरूप (चिति) हैं, 'तत्' पद (तत्त्वमसि महावाक्य के 'तत्' शब्द) के लक्ष्यार्थ (परमार्थ) को प्रकट करने वाली हैं, शुद्ध चैतन्यरूपा हैं, जिनके अपने आत्मानंद के सामने ब्रह्मा आदि देवताओं का आनंद भी तुच्छ (लव के समान) हो जाता है।
