पितुस्त्वमेव मे गत्वा शीघ्रमाचक्ष्य राघव । न त्वामनुदहेत्क्रुद्धो वनं वह्निरिवैधितः ॥ २-६३-४६
Oh ! scion of the Raghus (Dasaratha) Go at once and inform my father, lest in anger he should burn you like ignited fire consuming the forest. ॥ 2-63-46॥
english translation
pitustvameva me gatvA zIghramAcakSya rAghava । na tvAmanudahetkruddho vanaM vahnirivaidhitaH ॥ 2-63-46
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइयमेकपदी राजन्यतो मे पितुराश्रमः । तं प्रसादय गत्वा त्वं न त्वां स कुपितः शपेत् ॥ २-६३-४७
'Oh ! king, this footpath leads to my father's hermitage. Go and beg his forgiveness so that he may not curse you out of anger.' ॥ 2-63-47॥
english translation
iyamekapadI rAjanyato me piturAzramaH । taM prasAdaya gatvA tvaM na tvAM sa kupitaH zapet ॥ 2-63-47
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविशल्यं कुरु मां राजन्मर्म मे निशितः शरः । रुणद्धि मृदुसोत्सेधं तीरमम्बुरयो यथा ॥ २-६३-४८
'Gently remove the arrow from my body, Oh ! king the sharp arrow is piercing deep into my vital just like the current of the river hits its elevated bank.' ॥ 1-63-48॥

vizalyaM kuru mAM rAjanmarma me nizitaH zaraH । ruNaddhi mRdusotsedhaM tIramamburayo yathA ॥ 2-63-48
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसशल्यः क्लिश्यते प्राणैर्विशल्यो विनशिष्यति । इति मामविशच्चिन्ता तस्य शल्यापकर्षणे ॥ २-६३-४९
The thought of removing the arrow kept me pondering. If not removed, it will be painful, and if removed, he will die. ॥ 2-63-49॥

sazalyaH klizyate prANairvizalyo vinaziSyati । iti mAmavizaccintA tasya zalyApakarSaNe ॥ 2-63-49
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदुःखितस्य च दीनस्य मम शोकातुरस्य च । लक्षयामास हृदये चिन्तां मुनिसुतस्तदा ॥ २-६३-५०
The son of the ascetic noticed my anguish and seeing me thus distressed, wretched and afflicted with sorrow. ॥ 2-63-50॥

duHkhitasya ca dInasya mama zokAturasya ca । lakSayAmAsa hRdaye cintAM munisutastadA ॥ 2-63-50
